In this project I studied the landscapes and buildings that I photographed both at home in Manchester, and in Portugal whilst on holiday. I chose these two locations as I felt that they both had very contrasting atmospheres as a coastal location and a busy city centre. I then worked to create my final piece which combined the two to show this contrast by importing some of the common features of the Portugese buildings, such as the bright colours and shutters, onto the Manchester building.
